FARZANA AMIN M.D.
Farzana Amin, M.D. completed her residency in Adult Psychiatry at St. Louis Medical University in Missouri, where she served as Assistant Chief Resident from 2005-2006. At Stanford University, Dr. Amin served as a fellow for the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Program, from which she graduated in 2008. At Stanford she worked extensively with children diagnosed with Developmental Disorders, Autism Spectrum Disorders and Intellectual Disabilities. . She is a triple Diplomate of American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, both for adults and child/adolescent psychiatry and for American Board of Obesity Medicine.
Dr. Amin also received training at THE KETAMINE TRAINING CENTER under guidance of Dr Philip Wolfson, MD .
Phil Wolfson MD was the Principal Investigator for the MAPS sponsored Phase 2, FDA approved 18-person study of MDMA Assisted Psychotherapy for individuals with significant anxiety due to life threatening illnesses. His role in developing Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy has been shaped by his extensive clinical experience with ketamine.
